Yaxiong Guo is an architectural designer based in Düsseldorf, Germany, currently working at RKW Architektur+.
He has been involved in projects across all design phases (LPH 1–8), with experience ranging from early concept development to detailed design and construction coordination. His work includes BIM-based planning, façade development, and technical detailing in realized projects.
Previously, he worked as part of the team at Hascher Jehle Architektur, contributing to architectural competitions (Wettbewerbe) in Germany, including award-winning entries with a 1st prize (1. Preis) in a national competition.
His work focuses on sustainable architecture, adaptive reuse, and low-carbon housing systems. By integrating German building standards with hands-on project experience, he develops architectural solutions that are not only conceptually strong, but also technically feasible and ready for implementation.
Through GYX Atelier, he explores the transfer of German architectural methodologies into international contexts, particularly in bridging design and construction practices between Europe and China.
He provides architectural consulting and design support for projects seeking to apply German standards internationally, including early-stage concept development, façade strategies, and sustainable building solutions.
